![]() Having reached the tower of Duma in Rigel, Celica and her party are forced to scale the tower to fight Jedah, a member of the Duma Faithful who has manipulated Emperor Rudolph of Rigel into starting a war with Sofia. This is where the rant starts (Minor spoiler warning) ![]() With Mila having suddenly gone missing, and that being the reason for the breaking of the divine accord, Celica sets off on a pilgrimage to Mila’s temple to determine exactly what is going on with the gods. Meanwhile, Celica has been taken to one of Mila’s many churches by Mycen and has grown up under the protection of the church and father Nomah with her friends Boey, Mae, and Genny. When Mycen refuses to join the deliverance, Alm and his friends decide to go to war in Mycens stead. ![]() One day, a Knight by the name of Lukas visits the village of Ram and informs Alm of the assassination of king Lima the 5th Of Sofia at the hands of chancellor Desaix, and in addition, Rigel has brokentbe divine accord and began a war on Sofia, and a knight of Sofia named Clive forming a rebel group known as the deliverance, and that he had come to recruit Mycen who was once known as “Sofia’s hero”. Fast forward a couple of years and Alm and his villager buddies Faye, Kliff, Tobin, and Gray have all grown up. Our story starts with Alm, a young village boy and his “cousin” Celica growing up in the village of Ram where them and their villager friends are attacked by a group of knights but are saved by Alm’s “grandfather” Mycen, a knight of Sofia who successfully repels the knights but takes Celica away for an unknown reason with one of the knights setting up a mystery calling Celica “The princess who refuses to die”. Flash forward a couple thousand years and the people of Sofia have grown soft and weak while living under the generosity and gifts of Mila, while the people of Rigel lived under harsh weather, drought, and other hardships, growing strong. They did what all good siblings do when they have an argument and they drew a line in the sand, Duma would take the north of Valentia and form the nation of Rigel, while Mila would take the south of Valentia forming the nation of Sofia.Īccording to the divine accord, neither side would ever go to war and would live in peace with each other. Unable to come to an agreement, they struck an accord. While Duma believed Humans needed to be strong and suffer through hardship to live, Mila believed humans deserved nothing but their kindness and gifts. Long ago, two sibling gods Duma and Mila took hold of the continent of Valentia. So, in a technical sense, yes, FE15 was literally meme’d into existence. This, in turn gave the game way more popularity than it deserved. ![]() Looking at it critically, Gaiden has thousands of flaws and yet it has somehow it managed its way into the heart of one specific Canadian Youtuber named “Ghast Ation” now formally known only as “Ghast”, who manages to get the game on the worst Nintendo Emulator of all time, starting the #JustPlayGaiden. A Japanese exclusive game releasing on the Nintendo Famicom on March 14th, 1992. So why on earth they decided to remake the worst game in the series is beyond me.įire Emblem Echoes: Shadows Of Valentia is a top down turn based tactical RPG and holds the title of being the 15th game in the Fire Emblem series and is a remake of Fire Emblem 2: Gaiden. Now Intelligent Systems are walking a thin line, if they have one, even one final flop then that’s it. If not for FE13 saving the series making back as much money needed and more to save the series, the entire franchise would have died. Fire Emblem 10, 11, And 12, despite being good games, have all been financial flops which struggled to reach even half a million dollars in sales to this day. For the unaffiliated, Fire Emblem is perhaps the one series Nintendo has all but given up on. ![]()
